Cost effective energy capture for Rail

A state of play on existing and emerging technologies in regenerated energy capture, storage and re-use in a rail context.

The purpose of this project is to explore and identify current, emerging and future sustainable options for the efficient use of energy within the Australian rail network.

It is anticipated that understanding the applicability, feasibility and relevance of such options will enable the sector to integrate these approaches into current rail infrastructure and the significant investment in new projects occurring across the country.
