03rd of September

-

,

One year ago, UIC via its Digital Platform, launched a new initiative and offered you to participate to the very first edition of what has been named “Digital Transformation Tour”. This tremendous experience has allowed 15 of you, from several regions of UIC, to live a total immersion for 3 days in the North American Digital cradle and the place where everything started: The Silicon Valley. Proposed program here Considering the real success of this event we have decided, following our three guiding principles of “SHARE – OPEN – CONNECT” to present you with a new unique opportunity and to organize the second edition of the UIC Digital Transformation Tour. This year, we propose to discover one of the most important worldwide places for digital activities: the Chinese digital ecosystem. The tour will be decided around three strategic locations: Hong-Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai. We will give you the opportunity to visit and meet major actors of the digital transformation directly in China, including Universities. This programme is dedicated to you, your Chief Digital Officer (CDO) or Chief Information Officer (CIO). A detailed version of the programme will follow shortly. The tour is planned from September 3rd in the morning (the suggestion is to meet in Hong-Kong on 2/9 at night) until September 6th at night. The maximum capacity for this tour is 20 participants. Considering this limit, please confirm your participation by return to Francis BEDEL at bedel@uic.org. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until 30th April at the latest. A minimum participation of 5000 € will be requested to finance this tour (flight fares excluded), that will cover visits, all transports during the Tour, hotel rooms and meals from 2/9 at night till 6/9 at night. We look forward to hearing from you and to sharing this extraordinary digital experience with you.
