Mitigating signal colour-misconceptions from prescription lenses worn by train drivers.

Following reports that a point enhancer signal viewed through tinted multifocal sunglass lenses may cause a red signal to appear yellow,

ACRI has initiated research  into evaluating the level of optical blur changing the colour perception of railway signal that can be created by prescription lenses.

The outcome of the project will be recommendations on how to mitigate against the risk of colour-misconceptions caused by prescription lenses.
